2. Use of Third-Party AI APIs

AICodeSec functions as a local interface to third-party AI providers. As such:

• You provide your own API key directly within the application. These credentials are used only within your active session and are not transmitted to or stored by AICodeSec.
• Your data is processed directly by the AI provider pursuant to their terms and policies. Please consult your AI LLM providers Terms and Conditions for further information.

Important Notes:

• AICodeSec does not access, intercept, or store your API key or any related data.
• You are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of your chosen AI provider.
• Some AI providers may log or retain data (especially for free-tier usage). You should understand the privacy implications of your selected service.

Depending on your provider:

• Free-tier usage may be subject to content logging or model training.
• Paid-tier usage may offer stronger data privacy protections.

3. No Data Retention

Since we do not handle or store your data, Aicodesec does not retain any information related to your interactions or credentials. All data is managed directly by your AI provider under their terms.

• AICodeSec does not retain and process any user data, prompts, outputs, credentials, or session logs.
• All data processing occurs locally or is routed directly to the third-party AI service via your provided API key.
• We do not use any cloud storage or centralized databases to store or transmit user information.

4. Your Responsibility

As a user of AICodeSec, you acknowledge and agree to the following responsibilities:

• Providing valid and secure API credentials, and keeping them confidential.
• Managing billing, quotas, and access rights with your selected AI provider.
• Complying with data protection laws in your jurisdiction when using third-party services.
• Avoiding the submission of sensitive or confidential information, unless you have verified that your AI provider supports and protects such data in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
